This book is difficult and rife with astrophysics terminology that went clear over my head. Despite that, it's a fascinating take on first contact with alien intelligence. The crew of a long-distance spacecraft encounters what seems to be a life form orbiting a Jupiter-sized planet far outside our solar system.
