Endurance: A Year in Space, a Lifetime of Discovery by Scott Kelly

5.0

The amount of detail that was described in this book was absolutely mind blowing. It was so informative without being boring. I know a moderate amount of general information about space, I have been to Huntsville and have watched several documentaries.... but this book taught me SO MUCH. It also touched on the emotional aspects of being gone from not only the people you love, but EARTH IN ITS ENTIRETY for a year. Not feeling water on your skin, not cracking open a beer, not cooking food, not chopping up vegetables... etc... These are all things we don't ever think about and therefore take for granted. Overall this was an eye opening memoir about the life of an incredible astronaut.
