Daddy's Little Girl by William Malmborg

2.0

This was on Kindle Unlimited and well, I love stories about serial killer's children. I thought this would be a good fit and a quick read.

A lot of people say that this is vile and dark. I guess to some it is but it won't really stand out with some of the other books I read. It also wasn't well written enough to stand out against those other books. In fact, the author kept spelling "laughter" wrong. This happened twice within just a few sentences and it was distracting.

There was no solid characterization, either. I know trauma can play a role in being unstable, as I have PTSD, myself. But this seemed unrealistic. The changing POVs also got confusing and I found myself not wanting to even try to keep up with it.

Two stars because the ending got crazy and the book did keep me interested. I read it all in one sitting. An easy, weird read.
