I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy

5.0

I'm delighted that I opted for the audiobook. It held my interest throughout without being dull or overwhelming. From the outset, Jennette McCurdy managed to captivate me. Having watched her on screen since childhood, it's gratifying to delve deeper into her story beyond the confines of her previous role of Sam Puckett. Furthermore, I found it striking how certain aspects of her memoir resonated deeply with me. Despite facing numerous challenges, she maintained her integrity by refusing hush money from Nickelodeon, especially during such a vulnerable phase in her life. I sincerely hope Jennette continues to pursue writing; it appears to be a natural calling for her.
