Bellevue: Three Centuries of Medicine and Mayhem at America's Most Storied Hospital by David M. Oshinsky

5.0

This book was just excellent. Lots of fascinating information presented without being boring yet not falling on the recently common crutch of lame jokes and crappy pop culture references. Although it was a history of a Bellevue, it was more than that. More like a history of medicine in America using Bellevue as a backdrop to move the story along. It’s amazing how the profession of physician has changed through time.
