The Devious Husband by Catharina Maura
4.0

I have been waiting for this book for a while. Sierra and Xavier have been dancing around each other in all of the prior books and their inevitable collision is finally here. Like any of Catharina Maura’s books there is spice, drama and angst and miscommunication but then healthy communication along with an action scene. It’s like a telenovela! You almost can’t believe what is happening but then there are these stretches of deep character development and emotional growth. Oh look! They are finally communicating using their grown up words and finally going to therapy. This is real life. (Plus some kidnappings, private islands and designer dresses to keep us entertained) I always thought Sierra was a bit childish and spoiled and frankly her oblivious nature made me annoyed with her. She grew on me as she finally grew up and valued herself. This story is the end of the Windsor family saga so it is bittersweet. Fun series to enjoy on Kindle Unlimited and the author is South Asian so you know my support will be unfailing.

I am very excited to see the side characters like Xavier’s brothers and especially Valeria get their own story. Valeria sounds amazing and badass.
