The Bridge of San Luis Rey by Thornton Wilder, Richard Ferrone

Another book I didn't expect all that much from that surprised me.
I listened to it on audiobook and it's really short, only about 3 hours I think. The narrator was great and I would have been happy to listen to much more of the story.
I thought the idea of the book was very clever and interesting, and I was surprised at how much I truly enjoyed listening to the lives of the victims of the incident and those close to the victims.
The writing was really lovely, and it was just a really wonderful and moving read.
