Unique novella set up in this one!
The plot - This is an MC romance, club vs club business, age gap, rival presidents daughter, insta love and lots of lust. Smut was 3/5 on the spice scale. It’s also a HEA in a series of interconnected standalones. Only 120 pages. I do plan to read the next 2 books; Link and Dom, because they came in a set on a Stuff Your Kindle Day! It was good for 120 pages, I’d love a longer book with these two in.
The MC - hard to develop a strong female lead in 120 pages but Ms Davenport tried with Bridget! She was still quite young, quite immature, very much sheltered and naive but I think that contrasted nicely with her MMC.
The male counterpart - What can be said about Mac? His mind changed quicker than the weather, and is that due to the short book length or his personality? I’ll never know but I’m along for the ride regardless!
