I pretty much knew that he "was not that into me". I mean, with all the guys that I dated and they did the things described in this book.
But somehow having it written out and drilled into my brain has really made the difference between me suspecting it and me KNOWING it. I wanted to be the girl that gave chances and was the understanding exception.
Well, that has gotten me nowhere but heartbroken and bitter and ultimately, unhappy. Alone or not.
I've always said, "I don't chase men."
And a lot of people told me I was wrong and I should step up and approach the guys I wanted and go after them. But it never felt right or worked out then either.
I truly believe that if a man wants a women--he gets her. He goes hard for what he wants until he gets it.
Reading this book has affirmed my beliefs.
It was mostly an entertaining read and offers good insight and advice and I definitely recommend it to anyone single/dating. Especially if you're insecure and tired of the crap! :)
