I always enjoy the grumpy/sunshine trope, but I didn’t feel like I saw Gavin let down his guard enough at any point to convince me that they were in love. That didn’t keep me from enjoying the story, but made the ending feel a bit rushed for me. Also, the audiobook narrator could not pick an accent for Gavin… he was partially British and partially Jersey, and neither felt convincing.
