This was a fun, quick read. I love a sickbed book, and this had so many great elements of that trope.
Claire and Graham have been friends for several years and roommates for a while, but when tensions get heightened, they find that they may mean more to each other than they expected. Claire wants to avoid danger, while Graham is a total adrenaline junkie. Can they both grow enough to make a relationship last?
I read this book on a plane and it was just a fun, enjoyable experience. It was quick, I liked their growth arcs, the epistolary portion was sweet, and the banter was great. Claire has a bit of an abrasive personality and made some interesting choices throughout the novel, but I liked where she ended up. Graham was sweet as he grew from a playboy type character to able to show vulnerability and emotion.
This was my second Allison Ashley book and I would read more from her!
