To say how Nervous reading this book is an understatement. Man, I was scared reading this book because the first book Crown of Lies left me a blubbering mess. The ending of it really shocked my system and still had not recovered from the feeling. I went in with so much pf my guts because I wanted to know what happened. I was itching for answers. And boy, did it deliver the goods. Throne of Truth is a book that gave me shivers and told a conclude a series with so much gusto and conviction. I was left utterly spent when I finished it.
Throne of Truth concludes the story of Elle and Penn. This is the book where we uncovered all the secrets. I was so amazed by this conclusion. It was the perfect conclusion to such a dynamic story. I was reeling from the twists and turns and I swear I thought I would combust with all the tension in this book. Intense. Explosive. Suspense. Addictive. Foreboding. Dark. Throne of Truth was a seductive suspense with so much delicious notes that swept me away to another place. It was a book that embodied all things filthy and dangerous. It took my breath away. Throne of Truth also told a magnetic story of lies and truths. Pepper Winters certainly knows how to write a suspense. She puts so much thought and words that I cannot help but fall in love with her work. She is a true genius in my eyes.
Penn and Elle are such a dynamic couple with a lot of secrets and lies between them but still be so captivating. They captured me wholly and I was cast under their spell. They definitely touched me on a whole another level. I was gripped to their thoughts and experiences. Elle was such a strong heroine. Level headed and majestic businesswoman, she was gorgeous. I totally adored her loyalty to Penn and her tenacity. Penn was another story. He was possessive, protective, dominant and just an alpha with a dangerous past. He brought so many flutters to my heart. I just could not help but be entranced by him. Penn and Elle were so perfect for each other.
Throne of Truths definitely concluded this series perfectly. That is why Pepper Winters is one of my favurite authors because she comes up with amazing stories that make me so excited.
