Usually a pretty enjoyable romp through fantasy land. I enjoyed the part with Noc thinking Cora is insane and offering to get her help (because in that situation, who wouldn't think that?!). I liked Tor, and that even when he didn't like Cora he was still a pretty decent guy to her (though I was not a huge fan of the "you want food or clothes? Pay me in—basically—sexual favors," as he alludes in the beginning). And Cora was tolerable the whole book. She never did anything unforgivably stupid (TSTL) or mean or anything. She was a bit of a Mary Sue, actually. I would have enjoyed her being a little less "perfect" to be honest.
