Water's Wrath by Elise Kova

4.0

I am dead. I am dead. I am dead. The author murdered me. My poor heart, my poor fucking heart is beyond redemption
I’ve been hit by a car when I was a kid and have been to ICU for hours but what I’m feeling right now is so much worse than broken bones. My heart feels like it’s been ripped by bulldogs, it hurts so much, I could hardly breathe.

You know that you are in too deep, when you mourn for the death of the characters as though they were real. As though you were related by blood. As though you’ve known each other for years; when the truth is that, everything happened and took place just inside your head. And it fucking hurts

”Long Live Solaris”

Please stop murdering my favorite characters, it’s not fun anymore! Just thinking about it breaks me. I am ruined, destroyed, devastated and utterly annihilated.
This book is far from perfect but the plot was amazing as well as the characters, most of the scenes may not be mind-blowing but it certainly is a mind opening book. I have no words. I am grieving. I will have to take time and wallow in self pity.
