I ADORED Aerial Magic. What a stunning comic.
The art for this comic was brilliant and mesmerizing, I often re- read chapters immediately after finishing so I could take the art in again, and catch all the details I'd missed the first time. The watercolour was soft and mystical, perfectly reflecting the comic as a whole, and the chapter I was reading.
The story was similarly wonderful. It's not often you see stories about witches and magic that is done like this - in a way that isn't necessarily meant for children (though I'm sure some kids would love it!), but it isn't full of dramatic wars and the typical dark and broody worlds created around magic. I loved the world building. The story handled emotions and patience and difficult character journeys with the depth they deserved, giving each character a wonderful and rich POV. The author beautifully weaved in story plot with character journey, and had a wonderful ensemble cast in which each character truly felt like the protagonist of their own story - they didn't all revolve around one character. An absolute stunning comic and I will happily recommend it to every single person  who loves an uncomplicated (but rich and beautiful) witch story.
