I didn't know Michelle Zauner and her band, and am not usually reading memoirs. But in researching books where food played a role, I came across this one and picked it up.
I read it in one sitting. What a beautiful book. I have no personal ties to Korea/Asia and my parents are both still alive, but I was totally immersed. Such a tender, heartwarming, beautiful, moving story of complex relationships, identity, loss, grief and hope.
I honestly have no notes. This was a perfect read.
