ESA was one of my favourite books last year. I wouldn't even call this book a romance. It's a women's fiction. I felt like Fern and Will had no chemistry and the story felt very disjointed. Their relationship felt rushed and underdeveloped. There were insta-love vibes that didn't work for me at all and the smut was just cringy.
