I had high hopes and really enjoyed the first third of the book in the snl style writers room. the emails were corny but still cute but i can confirm i strongly dislike when covid is a key part of a plot 🫣😵💫
also the romance felt so immature to me. if they never mentioned ages, i’d assume these characters were in their late teens or early 20s, not nearly 40. Sally’s extremely insecurity is so irking.
