As someone who grew up with the Gallagher Girls series, I was beyond thrilled when I heard the Ally Carter was releasing an adult spy novel. This book was lighthearted and funny with lots of cute banter between spy (or operative as he insisits) and adorable normal-person amnesiac.
While I enjoyed so many aspects of the book it felt very bare bones and heavy on the dialogue and leaned much more into the comedy side as opposed to the higher stakes adventure I had come to expect from the later Gallagher Girls books.
If you want a lighthearted spy themed rom-com this is for you!
