***NOTE: As part of our 2020 reading challenges, my mom and I are revisiting the old works of her favorite YA author, Mildred D. This one would be a good option for younger readers, but I’m not sure it is actually in the Logan series. Are these the kids of Stacey/one of his brothers? We don’t hear about the Logans having family in Ohio or Detroit in the previous stories, as I recall. I will be trying to look more into the “definitive order” of the series as listed by Mildred D. Taylor and her publishers. For instance, I remember that some of the books have a Narnia-like listing on their opening pages. If I am successful at finding this official order, does anyone know how to change this within Goodreads???
