I liked that each wife's story was explained and they were able to be told. I liked how they all linked in some way. I guessed the plot but I enjoyed how it ended. 

At times I did feel it was slow however the story needed to be built for it to go where it needed to go. 

I liked the 4th wife but each wife's story was interesting and well written.  

I enjoyed the last 40 percent of the book more.
