The Princess Saves Herself in this One by Amanda Lovelace

5.0

Looking at the reviews, it seems quite a lot of people dislike changes to the form. Personally, I like it when the pages look less like a poetry book and more like a child's arts & crafts. Others have also called it 'emo-Tumblr and as someone who was on Tumblr for years when this type of stuff was popular, I can't say that I mind. The topics Lovelace covers hit me hard and seeing them in a style that reminds me of my teenage years might have made it seem more relatable. I would have definitely reblogged most of these.

After reading the e-book version of this, I decided to order all three poetry books in this collection.
