This book is like gladiator with dragons. It really is an interesting story and was a decent read/listen, but it wasn't a favorite. Would I read it again? maybe? Would I read the next book? Possibly, but it's not high on my list. There was more gore/violence than I typically prefer, but is anticipated based on Rome at that time.
