Hurt Me by C.G. Blaine

5.0

Hurt Me starts out fun and playful, blending some of my fave tropes (forced proximity, fake dating, opposites attract— yes please), and then it does what you can expect from the title: it gets you in the feels.

Eden and Becker are so wonderful and so layered and unique. Eden is this sexy, strong mix of sassy and sensitive, fierce and soft. She’s the rich girl who plans fundraisers, but she’s not haughty or judgmental and I adore her. And Becker is this alpha/broody/hardworking/loyal/dirty lover of a bad boy mechanic who is mixed up in some unsavory things but has good intentions. Can you tell I love him too?

This book. I love it so hard. And I may have already started campaigning for Eden’s older brother to get his own book because I’m definitely crushing on him too. (Oh, and there are some great female friendships, a smarmy skeeze of an ex, an overprotective older brother, a group of misfit rich boys whom I already love, AND some suspense.)

I friggen adore this book. I adore Eden and Becker. I adore CG Blaine.
Check it out.
