I wanted to love this, but unfortunately, that was not the case. The story has such great potential but there is WAY too much going on throughout the book. I think that a couple of storylines could have been focused on less and the story would have seemed more coherent. That being said, I am a sucker for a good monster horror novel and this isn't the worst one I've ever read. It definitely had me reading until the end, the jury's still out on whether or not I will finish the trilogy.

I do love Murr with all my heart though, so I wholeheartedly support the novelist career haha.
