This book was creepy and horrific, but not so disturbing and/or disgusting that I won’t be able to sleep at night. (I have my limits, okay?)
The ending wasn’t quite as satisfying as I had wanted, but it was about what I expected (I mean this in a good way).
I enjoyed the author’s style of writing. I know prose can be too tedious for some people, but I like it. It did go on a little longer in some spots than it needed to, but never so much that I felt like I couldn’t finish the book.
