Did not finish book. Stopped at 63%.
I started to write a review but then I got distracted by a better book and it’s just not worth redoing. This book is characters being shoved around like puppets for an overpacked plot. I can see why it might be a good tv show, where someone can stretch out the action and write characters to be more like people.  But you can probably pass on the book. Especially if you are not an enjoyer of multiple suicides (three in what I read, though one was clearly a murder, and then two more historic…like, i get that it’s dark and all but….that’s a lot of suicides for one book. Yikes.)
