Secret Keeping for Beginners
by Maggie Alderson
Lovely good to read. I love the story, which is about the life of four different woman and from 4 different perspective. I don't enjoy read Joy's chapter or Joy's POV and also I hate her meddling, and her hippy mumbo jumbo. I hate how the fate of some relationship changed because of her. I think if the author needs something to direct the plot, she shouldn't have created a character that she called 'intuitive'. I love the chemistry between Tessa and Simon in the middle of the chapter and sad to see it get squashed right after. It's also so weird that Simon and Rachel ended up together. Also, the ending is too 'happily ever after' and convenient and weird (everyone's gather together, fast forwarded a bit too much). Honestly, this book made me a bit put off toward around 70% of reading it. The beginning was so interesting and promising!
However, I still enjoyed it nonetheless and for that I'll give 3 stars.
