The Keeper of Lost Things by Ruth Hogan

3.0

Underwhelming book with no conflict. I listened to this book while cross stitching so you’d think I’d love a “charming” light hearted cheesy British fiction. But no, I found myself rolling my eyes, not caring about any characters, patiently waiting for it all to end.
I did begin a drinking game where I would drink wine every time Laura would drink a “cuppa tea” which was constantly. Like she drank a lot of tea.
Reminded me of the book “Anxious People” but that book is much more interesting.
Also reminded me of a British PBS show like “All Creatures Bright and Beautiful” because of the British-ness, cheesiness, animal love, light hearted romance and very little conflict.
