Ok let’s dive the fuck in because I fucking LOVED this book! Yall KNOW I love a good mafia book and this book DELIVERED! Book one follows Rian and Isabella and holy shit I’m obsessed!
Rian was EVERYTHING I love in a mafia MMC. Brooding, ALPHA, dangerous and LOYAL. Boy was DOWN BAD and I could not get enough!
Isabella might be one of my favorite mafia FMCs. She was fierce and didn’t take Rian’s shit and I ADORED the found family she had with his men so much!
The world building in this was amazing! And YES mafia books NEED world building and Brooke NAILED it! This is an INTERCONNECTED series so the story is not complete at the end of this book but the couples story is. I CANNOT wait to continue in this world with these characters. And the next couple I am freaking the fuck out over!
This was Brooke’s first full length novel and it was perfection! The spice was her normal HOT as fuck spice but it blended effortlessly with the plot! Honestly that is a TALENT! And of course it had her signature BREEDING and baby it was GOOD 🫠🫠
