I liked it way more than I anticipated. I must say that reading the description of the book years ago I thought it was not a good fit for me, with such common tropes, and the fact that the male love interest had a six pack (I prefer when books don't focus on the characters looks, and don't give importance to common conventions about physical attraction). At the end, I saw a copy for free in a tiny free library and so I brought the book home.

I was surprised, I fell in love with the characters, and I was able to ignore the details that I didn't like much.
