Love Your Life
by Sophie Kinsella
I think that Sophie Kinsella just may not be for me. This is the second book I've read by her and I'm not impressed. I won't say I wasted my time, I did chuckle a few times, Matt had a few moments that made me go "awww", but ultimately this book is a no for me. Ava is a hot mess. I'm sure she's suppose to be quirky and relatable but she's all over the place from what she wants to do with her life to her "saving" random items, to the denial of her terribly behaved dog. I liked Matt enough, he was a little tense for me but it made sense for his character. Their relationship was ridiculous. I didn't really feel the chemistry, like not even in the beginning when they were in Italy. At 23% in they were in love and I was like how? And why? It was a fling and it should have stayed that way. I'm not sure I've ever read a book where I was hoping the main characters did not end up together.
