Magical Midlife Love by K.F. Breene

5.0

Let me start I was so ready to read this book after reading the synopsis and wasn't disappointed not one bit. I'm loving the midlife genre of righting and the starting over at 40 was just up my alley. This book was about the finding of oneself and breaking out of the normal expectations of a women in her 40's. The book started off slow building up to more faster pace in the plot. The house and the dolls were a hoot as well as the guardians of the home. I laugh so hard and at the same was impressed with the shifters that were in story. If only polar bear shifters were real and gargoyles I think I would be a happy camper. The damsel in distress troupe wasn't big in the story it was more about finding inner strength to be the best version of oneself no matter who doesn't like it. The whole series is worth the read and look forward to the next book because i've up to speed with all of the books in this series.
