Dragon Bones by Patricia Briggs

I can't put my finger on exactly why I love this book so much, but for whatever reason I really truly do enjoy it. I wouldn't say it's spectacularly well written, and yet I find myself rereading it fairly often. I just love the characters and the world they're set in, and while it's a pretty short novel, it has a number of lines that stick with me ('the boneless grace of youth' and avoiding arguments by 'sliding away from their point like oatmeal from a spoon' being two of them). I wish the series was longer than two novels
