I loved this book. I held off on reading it for so long because I heard it was sad. It certainly was sad at times but there is so much more to it. It’s more than a contemporary romance too. It deals with complex trauma and healing. I think it’s a great read. My main issue with the book is the pacing. The book changes trajectories several times and there are numerous conflicts introduced. I think some of the storylines were significantly stronger than the others. This book also has the longest epilogue ever and I think it should have been broken into chapters instead of feeling separate from the rest of the story. Other than that it’s a feat and while very heavy it is a fantastic read.
