Lover Enshrined
by J.R. Ward
The rating for this book seemed to be a bit all over the place, so I wasn't sure how I would like it. Since there had been a lot of Phury in book 5, I thought I'd get bored. The pacing of this book was amazing. Not that I don't like it, but in most of the books the brothers were quick to do the deed. But this book was different. Because of everything Phury had gone through, always putting others first, being celibate, it was difficult for him to take that step with anyone. I liked that he didn't get over that quickly. He showed tremendous growth throughout this book which is something that I can appreciate. I like to see people grow and change into a better person that they hope to be. He had to struggle so much over doing what needed to be done and doing what he needed to do for himself. At the end of the book, he hadn't solved all his problems, in fact he was far from it. He was still battling with his addiction but he learned to overcome it.
I also loved how the brothers, definitely Z, tried to help Phury change and stop his destructive patterns.
John has touched me since day one. He is always so sweet, caring, and sensitive to others. I love it. He can be a hard ass when he wants to but he's really grown into himself. I can't wait to see what happens with him. He finally starts to deal with his issues after the shower incident. It was difficult but he faced it. I can't believe Lash, how people can be so cruel. Well as we see in this book, there's a reason why Lash has always been such a bastard. He got it from his father.
Over all loved it. I don't mind the voices on the audiobook accept for the voice of Mr. D. I really love cowboys (as if I've seen them in real life or something LOL I only really know about the ones in Rough Riders) but I cannot stand the way the narrator does his voice. I mean I really can't stand Mr. D at all or any of the other lessers. They're just annoying!

It was great to see that side of Z. I've always loved him and even with all his issues and the stuff that he was going through with Bella, he still helped his brother a bit. I was so happy that he didn't lose Bella or their baby.John has touched me since day one. He is always so sweet, caring, and sensitive to others. I love it. And finally he got with Xhex! YAY! I knew something would eventually happen. I really hope that they can end up together but I worry so much about Xhex and Rhevenge. I couldn't believe what happened with Blay and Quinn yet I had a feeling because of the way Blay was always looking.Over all loved it.
