I didn’t have any high expectations especially after reading Queenie. And I’m glad.
I would’ve liked to know more about Cyril Pennington who I thought would be the main character but turns out isn’t really.
We then get to know his 5 estranged kids through his daughter, Dimple’s POV which I thought was so random. I found her character unbearable, annoying and extremely naive which made reading the book that much hard. The Kyron storyline was super unrealistic but interesting however it got to a point when it kinda stopped because other storylines were being developed, as though events can’t take place simultaneously.
The storylines IMO didn’t really grow and there wasn’t much character developed. Not for me!
