Insatiable
by Melanie Harlow
“I didn’t think I was the type to get down on one knee and ask somebody to spend the rest of her life with me, but dammit, Sawyer—you’ve got a way with me. And I can’t live without it.”
4.5 stars.
I knew very early into this book that I was going to love it. I fell for Meg straight away, and could feel their chemistry before they even had their first on page interaction, it just was THAT undeniable.
I love friends to lovers as much as the next guy, but it's never really particularly a favorite of mine, let alone when it's a friends with benefits thing, but this book.. just had something about it. I'm gonna chuck it to Meg and Noah's insane chemistry, heartwarming history as well as the undeniable love they had for each other that started way before either of them realized.
Meg and Noah was one of the two things that made me love this book so much. Their scenes made me look forward to more of their banter, I couldn't get enough. They have crazy chemistry but they also have a very strong understating and connection that's been there since they met each other, and even if we didn't see their early high school days, it was so very clear that theirs wasn't just a passing friendship, and honestly, their development just made SENSE. I honestly had no other choice but to fall.
Another thing that made me love this book even more, was how much we got of the Sawyer sisters, which just made me fall for them all the more. I have to admit my favorites are April, Sylvia and Meg (as characters) which just made me all the more happy that they had such a tight knit bond.
I am so looking forward to the next two books (like I said, Sylvia and April being two of my 3 favorites) but also I so don't wanna say goodbye to this series, I'm growing very attached to this family!
