This second-chance romance was the cozy, emotional comfort read I didn’t know I needed. Kai and Isabelle’s connection felt so genuine, like watching two hearts find their way home. Their history, their chemistry, and the slow rebuild of trust had me completely invested from beginning to end.

Samantha Brentmoor is one of my favorite narrators. Her voice is made for dual POV and she brings so much depth to every story she tells. David Lee Huynh was new to me, but he did such a great job as Kai. I also really appreciated the thoughtful casting of an Asian voice actor for a character with Japanese heritage.

If you love low-angst, emotional, full-of-heart love stories, this one belongs on your TBR. Soft, sweet, and deeply satisfying.
