Blindness by José Saramago

4.0

If you can get through a Saramago book, do it. In case you're unaware: much in the way of Cormac McCarthy, there is little to no punctuation in a Saramago work, and sometimes the passages go on for multiple pages. There were some really gross parts to this one, but it really brought to reality what living conditions would be like in the situation that takes place in this story.

The dog of tears is definitely one of my favorite beings in this work.
