i loved this book so much. every twist and turn was surprising and unexpected, and i was surprised upon reading the ending.
i really loved the many times that dicker broke the 4th wall, and especially loved the way he confirmed it and gently took you out of the story and put you back in your real life at the end.
from starting this book to finishing it, i immensely enjoyed and clicked with the writing style and clung to every word. while i felt the pace of this book was very slow, this is exactly what i’ve been looking for as i aim to read with more intention, and i found the backstories, time jumps, and multiple character POVs to be very entertaining and welcome. overall, this was an incredibly enjoyable read that had me thinking a lot about it, even when i wasn’t reading it. i never thought i would care so much about a bunch of fictional swiss bankers, but i really, really do.
