Too Tempting by Sarah Blue

Too Tempting is a poly, omegaverse that focuses on a found family and navigating forming a pack with two omegas, two alphas and a beta. It's the final book in the Heat Haven series.

There were things I absolutely loved about the book -- I loved getting to really explore mental health and therapy as a way to form a stronger bond between the pack. I loved that Kelsey was the glue between two existing relationships -- alpha Dom and omega Cameron and then alpha Shyla and beta Emmett. She really wanted to find a family that would balance everyone out but also allow for each person to have their moment and feel needed. I adored Emmett and he was often in the middle of making sure everyone had what they needed and even though he was a beta, he knew exactly what each pack member needed.

Unfortunately, some of it just didn't work for me. I know Cameron struggled often with his identity and wanting to feel needed and not left out, but it felt like it dragged a bit. Even when he was reassured, he let his thoughts fester and would bring down the dynamic and was ultimately what lead to the conflict. Even though he is an omega, it felt too often that it was "but what about me, I need the attention" and at times, took away from some of the other relationships.

I really enjoyed getting cameos from the previous books (I still love Liv). I really liked that instead of just bonding right away, they wanted to make sure all of their dynamics would work together and how to better communicate with each other with the help of a therapist. Kelsey knew in her heart that these two couples were the pack she wanted -- they just had to work on making sure everyone was doing their best to make the pack work and balancing out 5 strong personalities.
