Weak Hero by RAZEN, SEOPASS
4.0
Spectacular
If I were to sum up Weak Hero in a single word it would be that. Though you may be put off by the ridiculous amounts of swearing and the unrealistic setting, please persevere! You will find some truly heartwarming moments that broke my heart (you know what part I'm talking about rip).
There are a lot of worldbuilding problems including one which is very common to YA - where are the adults? Along with this we have no police, teachers etc but we have student led gangs. The swearing and the violence may also put you off. Lastly, why on earth are there no women?
Honestly though, I enjoyed it even with these significant problems. Normally I absolutely loathe terrible worldbuilding but I suppose in this case it works. The characterisation, storyline and fight scenes more than make up for it.
cue gushing montage
Can we appreciate the amazing, fleshed-out characters who are just the most precious cinnamon rolls?!? I want to jump in the world and wrangle Donald Na for trying to hurt my bois. The bonds of friendship between them are stunning to see and even the villains are sympathetic and well-done. The redemption arcs actually work too.
The artwork is amazing and the expressions feel alive. It felt like watching an anime at times as the artwork and the pacing worked in tandem to create some of the most visually stunning fights that I've seen in my life.
The best thing about this series are the fights themselves. How could they not be when this is a fighting webtoon for 90% of the story? All the fights are creative, well-crafted and light years ahead of the generic fighting you would normally see.

Again, I cried for Stephen's death; this time after Gray vs Wolf Keum. I did not need to have that happen to my already fractured heart-
