This book was so sweet! Totally binged it and read it in a day and it hit the spot. I guessed the “twist” a mile away but I didn’t care because it felt so darn real. Also YAY CANADA! I’ve never noticed it before, but reading a “Canadian book” that actually took place in Canada, by a Canadian author, the Canadian phrases and way of speaking stood out to me and just made it that much more real.

Definitely a fan of Carly now and crazy impressed this is her debut book! Possibly an auto-buy author for me.
