Gothikana more like Gothican't.

Between the lack of plot, the lack of chemistry, and the lack of character development, this book is gonna be a no from me dawg.

It’s frustrating that Tor would rather push a book out like this while barely being edited (I’m disappointed that one of the edits they did make was getting rid of “a glass of drink in her hand”) than wait and edit the book and make it better. Nearly everything about this book was bad and it makes me sad because Tor has the money and resources to make it better. And they just didn’t.

Also that epilogue only confirmed my hypothesis that Corvina is just a massive self-insert to some weird Harry Potter/Dracula fan-fic.

Very much giving My Immortal vibes.
