Life in the City of Dirty Water: A Memoir of Healing by Clayton Thomas-Muller
challenging
sad
medium-paced
3.5
The first third of this book can feel like trauma dumping and thus merits a lot of trigger warnings; the narrative isn't exactly cohesive and tends to switch times/focus fairly frequently.
Moderate: Mental illness, Drug use, Death, Colonisation, Suicidal thoughts, Racism, Racial slurs, Infidelity, Grief, Child abuse, Alcohol, Sexual violence, and Physical abuse
