The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway
5.0
I love Hemingway's concise prose. Expertly done, each action or description fits perfectly in place where an inner monologue might commonly be found today. You connect with his characters because they're grown ass people who are angsty and hopelessly in love and taking things day-by-day. They're just people, and they don't have to be more than that, and the way Hemingway conveys this is what I appreciated most about this novel. Definitely recommend for anyone who enjoyed The Great Gatsby, Of Mice and Men, The Alchemist, etc.
