Homemade Sin by Kathy Hogan Trocheck

5.0

These books are so good. I wish Trocheck would have continued this series along with her chick-lit rom-coms. I understand about the financial discrepancies between the genres, but she had a dedicated following to the Callahan Garrity series. End of rant.

This is a great mystery that layers over family ties. It points out how blind we can be to what is going on right under our noses. Over her families objections, Callahan investigates her cousin's murder. Callahan refuses to let it go as a simple car jacking. These books are a little dated, but the mysteries and themes stand the test of time.
