Tigerheart's Shadow
by Erin Hunter
Okay, it's more like 3.5 stars/5, but whatever. Here's my review. Spoilers ahead, I guess? But mostly humorous spoilers, so read at your own risk.
Join Tigerheart as he goes places where no warrior cat has gone before...the city...
I'm not joking. Be prepared for a wild ride unlike no other Warrior Cats Super Edition! In this book, our cats...
-Go to church!
-Ride the train!
-Steal from a BBQ!
-Somehow get 5 foxes into cat traps!
-Get a bird's eye view of what the lake looks like!
-Go garbage picking!
-And...experience a manga adventure at the end that has nothing to do with the main plot!!!
Okay, joking aside, this was probably the weirdest Warriors book to date. Which can be good or bad, I guess...it's nice to get a change from the usual, but...when it different just..too weird?
Nevertheless, I enjoyed the book. Some of the characters we meet in this book are more lovable than any cat we've met so far in the Vision of Shadows arc (move over, Alderheart and Violet/Twigpaw...make room for Spiresight!! Seriously, I loved him). Oh, and if you hate the pairing of Tiger X Dove....don't even bother with this book. Seriously. I love that pairing so I was pumped for this book but I know there's tons of haters out there. BUT if you don't read Tigerheart's Shadow, then be prepared to be HELLA confused about what happens between books 3 and 4 of A Vision of Shadows. Just saying...
