Maker's Curse by Trudi Canavan

It feels so long since I read the trilogy (I'd saved them all up to read in one go, then realised there was a 4th when I got to the end!) That this was read pretty much as a stand alone book. I had patchy recall of what had happened, thankfully the background was weaved into the story and there was enough detail to remind me of events without having to retell the whole story.

I really enjoyed exploring the world's and the way the magic system worked, the building of the characters and plot, but for a final in a series of books it was very underwhemimg.
